Internationally known, modern Garifuna painter, Greg Palacio has produced a masterpiece titled "DÜGÜ" which attracted the attention of the Smithsonian Institution.

Palacio works in a rich, descriptive style that has captured the spirit of place and time through lush paint, color and atmosphere. Over the last decade he has become one of the pre-eminent painters of Garifuna culture, coastal and rural views.
